Bhojpur Police, Bihar Police

Bhojpur district is one of the thirty eight districts of Bihar state. Ara is the police headquarters of Bhojpur district headed by a Superintendent of Police (IPS) officer. Ara also has a mounted military police camp. Bhojpur district came into existence in 1972. Earlier it was a part of Shahabad district.
