Quite simply you can the set desired brightness for any application. That brightness can be a fixed value or it can be Auto Brightness with an adjustment level.

Unlike other apps which constantly run in the background this app has zero effect on battery and performance. This was achieved through the use of Android's accessibility features.

As mentioned you can choose between a constant value and a value based on the old automatic brightness of Android (before Pie), meaning this allows you to tune the level of the automatic brightness for each app. So you can set different brightness levels based on the surrounding ambient light / time of day. Alternatively, we added the option to use your device's own automatic brightness (called adaptive brightness on android Pie and up).

Important note: This app requires accessibility permission. It needs these settings in order to avoid having to run constantly in the background like other apps do. If you don't feel comfortable giving accessibility permissions then you cannot use this app.
