Building Learning Journeys

YES4YOUTH is an education mobile app for action-based learning consisting of “bite-sized knowledge.” Content is values-driven and principle-based. It is designed for busy professionals and executives who have no time yet want to continue learning for their personal and professional development. It is a daily app that only requires ~10-15 minutes per day. Each topic consists of 30 days each, based on the notion that it takes at least 30 days to start developing new habits. Content is action-based which means that each day includes actions that the user needs to do to apply their learning in practical ways. We believe that it is only through practice where true learning occurs.

Our product is unique in 3 different ways:

#1 - Knowledge into action. Every day, users will learn a new principle or idea and will have the chance to put it into practice. We believe knowledge that can be acted on is powerful.

#2 - Principle-based. Since we understand our users are busy, we have narrowed down these topics into the basic principles so that even after they complete the topic, users can start to apply it in different areas of life - work, life, and relationships.

#3 - Engaging and interactive. We believe fun is an important part of the learning journey, so each day has been designed to keep users entertained and engaged by interacting with us, each other and the app. We curate from leading practitioner-led content sources like TED.com videos and Harvard Business Review articles to provide credible sources on various topics.
