TUKA 4 (Tuka Chari) is the simplified version of the Indian Ludo board game widely played in the region of Western Odisha. Childhood Nostalgia and promoting the extinct game culture are the two major reason behind developing this game.

How to Play

1 . The TUKA 4 is a board game played on a 5x5 square board.
2 . Crossed squares are the safe places, where pawns cannot be attacked.
3. For rest of the squares, if the player’s pawn lands on a space occupied by the opponent, the opponent's pawn is 'attacked' and returned to the starting position.
4. Each player owns 4 pawns. The movement of the pawns is determined by the throw of 4 cowries.
5. On getting a turn, the player throws four cowries and moves the pawns up the spiral path anticlockwise 1- 8 places according to the result of the throw.
6. The player has to move all of their pawns to the innermost square to win, whoever does it first is the winner.
