由中央研究院地理資訊科學研究專題中心提供十一張不同年代的臺中市地圖，顯示範圍集中在臺中市中區、西區、南區、北區，可看到臺中城市百年間的發展，平地起高樓，逐漸成為一座繁華的都市。
