All the coins you have collected will be saved and you can use them to upgrade your power-ups. You'll get 1 point for every Dollar-Coin you collect. You'll get 10 points for every Dollar-Stack you collect. You are safe from everything as long as you wear the Shield-Bubble. When you are wearing the Shield-Bubble you can also destroy the red Skull-Coins but if you are not protected then the Skull-Coins will destroy you. If you collect the Clock the Skull-Coins will move drastically slower, making it easier for you to navigate through the harsh terrain.
