Each and every puzzle displayed in Magic Moves, is thoroughly validated with the help of computers to ensure that it has at least one solution. Also there is a option to "play as opponent" where AI opponent will checkmate you within mentioned number of moves.

Magic Moves consists of numerous checkmate puzzles, categorized as,
- Beginner - mate in 2
- Intermediate - mate in 3
- Expert - mate in 4

Players can advance to various levels in each category.

What is mate in 'N'?
The board will be loaded with coins arranged in such a way that player can forcefully checkmate the CPU against any defense in just N moves. Always the player moves first. This is referred as "mate in N" puzzle.

For example, "mate in 2" goes like this,
1. You make a move so that CPU has limited options to play.
2. CPU plays the best move possible to escape from Checkmate.
3. In your second turn, deliver checkmate to complete the puzzle.

Checkmate is a condition where a king is in check(threatened with capture) and there is no way to remove the threat.

If a player is not in check but has no legal move, then it is Stalemate, and the game immediately ends in a draw.
