After doing that you must select "Go" and "Start" for beginning to trace your path travel. The second one It's to adding notifications points pressing on a map point in your tracer or pressing "New Notification Point" in "Notification Points" section. In this way, the app will remind you on your tracers when you get closer to your added points.You will be able to identify your custom notifications points in red color on the map.
