WISE® is an eclectic intervention program financially supported by Indian Council of Medical Research (New Delhi). The idea of this intervention program is conceived by positive psychology and PPI enthusiast, [Dr. Rajneesh Choubisa], a registered clinical psychologist with an interest in the area of psychotherapy [Ms. Ishita Chaterjee] and an immensely talented team of computer professionals who shaped the WISE® imagination into what you are experiencing.
With all the diversities and expertise in their respective fields, this team is dedicated to answering the question of enhancing well-being in youth. This novel effort combines carefully chosen variables that act as significant factors predicting well-being of adolescents and young adults. The program comprises of three groups namely: experimental, control and placebo. One may be randomly allocated to any of the three groups after initial pre-assessment.
The entire flow of the program is as follows: Pre-assessment comprises of questions that you need to answer before one can carry out the intervention exercises followed by post-assessment. If one happens to be in a randomly allocated intervention group, s/he will be doing specifically tailored online and offline exercises (psycho-educational tasks). After the successful completion of each session activity, one waits for 7 days for the next session to unlock. Meanwhile, one is expected to do offline activities. However, control group participants have restricted access.
This research-based intervention program has to be experienced in an immersive manner to know how one is functioning and what affect the intervention program has exerted. If one does not want to continue, s/he can log out any time during the program. This application would be collecting basic demographic information from the participants and keeps it confidential.
