The enabling technology is a disruptive innovation for web identity authentication and management yet compatible with the password-based scheme. The passwords are not input on the web pages being browsed, instead they are stored in the app, found out according to those web page’s addresses, and then sent directly to the intended web servers for authentication. Successful logins authorize corresponding sessions on the browser. Hence, the web browser and web page are bypassed and no password can be stolen at the browser and web page.
